The next DARWIN Community of Practitioners (DCoP) workshop will take place in Linköping, Sweden, between 6 and 8 March 2018.
The workshop is an opportunity for the DCoP members – practitioners and experts in the fields of crisis response and resilience – to contribute to the development and evaluation of the DARWIN Resilience Management Guidelines (DRMG) and associated Concept Cards.
During the workshop, participants will evaluate how the DRMG and the Concept Cards can be integrated into their field of work by testing Darwin Concept Cards during a disaster scenario in the virtual reality city of ‘Wedgewood’. As co-creators of the DRMG, participants will also contribute to the rapid prototyping and assessment of two new Concept Cards.
By the end of the workshop, participants will receive an in-depth understanding of the DARWIN DRMG and how they can be adopted to their own actions and activities.
